How Claremont Mckenna College and U of Waterloo select international students?

Hi everyone here..Im a Chinese girl in a top normal high school..we dont provide AP courses and instead some students seek to learn by themselves and take the tests. Does AP really matter a lot for an international student? or the GPA is more important.. our school scales on the basis of 100% instead of a really GPA.. I have taken maths2 and physics sat subjects and both of them are 800..which is not a big surprise for chinese students., but also i took World History even though i hadnt had any course on it..and it went downright 630..
My dream school would be CMC and University of Waterloo, both having the top economics majors..but i dont know how they would weigh my scores..setting aside extracurricular activities... i took my first SAT in May.its 2150 (math780 cr 650 and writing 720).. CR is pulling me behind...i want to take it again in October hoping to have a better score in CR.. i saw stat of the CR score in CMC 650-720 or so.. does that mean its ok to have a CR that low (since like 75 pecent students in CMC have at least that score)...
I totally love CMC's economics major and the campus itself..also im aware that its among the top LACs...but lacking AP or good humanity sat subject score puts me quite down...is there anyone from CMC here knowing how chinese or Asians are selected in academic field?
U of Waterloo has the best acturial science major in the world...i saw on a chinese website where some notifications are posted concerning the admissions.. a students with 2000SAT and 2400 SAT subject scores (in physics, maths and chemistry) got into U of Waterloo.. is that common or not....
i really hope someone can help me here...been pretty puzzled.. would appreciate greatly to your help...
