How closely will UC admissions officers look at my extracurricular activities?

Hey all,

I'm a computer science major looking to transfer from a California community college into the UC system. I've already applied. My goal is to get into UC Berkeley. On my application, I put down math club, engineering club, and tutoring as extracurricular activities. However, this quarter I've become involved with a software startup. The guys at the startup like my work and want me to put in as many hours as I can. I like working at the startup more than I like any of my extracurricular activities, and I think it is also significantly more educational. What's likely to happen if I stop participating in my extracurricular activities and start using the extra time to work more with the startup? How, if at all, will UC admissions officers confirm my extracurricular activities? Should I submit a change to my application?

you will be fine.

i run some extracurricular activities at my school

if you are the kind of person that stops returning my calls because the work is not useful for college admissions anymore, i hate you.
