How comm college classes look on college apps

The highest level of Calc offered at my school is AB. My school’s math program starts in algebra, then geometry, then trig, then precalc or calc. In order to get accelerated in the program to take calc BC as a senior, you would have to “test out” of one or two of the math classes. Because my schedule was very tight, I decided to take Calc 1 at a community college in addition to the 6 classes at my high school instead of taking calc ab at school. By the end of my senior year, I will have completed calc 1, 2, and 3. Do colleges view taking calc at a community college when it is offered at your school as trying to take the easy way out? The 4 credit hours I got from the Calc 1 class are actually transferrable to more colleges in my area than a passing grade on the AP Calc AB exam.

You sound like you're ahead of the game since you have Calc 3, which you wouldn't have been able to take in high school anyway.
