perhaps those that are not gonna get interviewed are notified earlier, not sure. the only one ive heard back from is siena (rejected) so im expecting the same from union and RPI hasnt sent me anything whatsoever, all i got was a email when i first applied saying to make sure they have all my material, which they do…

I just received a supplemental application from AMC [for the 7 year RPI Program]. So happy, because I thought they were done sending them out! :)

The last day to submit the supplement and application fee is Janaury 21 according to the email.

the supplements for union and rpi are sent anywhere between jan and early march

^ True, I probably misread that part. I guess they give everyone a week to fill it out, starting from the date you receive the supplement.

Did anyone else get any communication from RPI for AMC?

i havent gotten anything from RPI. Not even about normal undergrad. I dont know what to assume

To all who haven’t heard back from the RPI program, I would just relax a little. I’m currently a 3rd year student in the program and I didn’t hear back from AMC about an interview or supplement till late January-early February and I know they send some even later than that. Interviews don’t begin until mid-to-end of February anyway. So just give it a few days. Good luck to you all and feel free to PM me any questions.

i have a question, when you send in your AMC supplement, do they go based off your grades/credentials or essays and activities when deciding if you are worthy of an interview? (for both Union and RPI, even though i only sent in Union’s supplement)

AMC will re-evaluate your entire application including grades, CV, and essays when deciding who to call in for interviews. RPI and Union initially screen your application first for good grades and decent test scores and then all that information is forwarded to AMC where it taken into consideration in addition to all the supplementary information you submit.

thanks man

So I’ve heard from Union and Siena but not from RPI yet. I know there’s still time to hear, and that doesn’t necessarily mean I’m rejected. But does anybody know what sort of questions they ask on the RPI-AMC supplement? I was surprised there was a supplement, since there’s an essay on the commonapp especially for the program. Also, does getting the supplement mean that you also get an interview, or do you have to pass another round of screening? And if you get an interview for more than one AMC program, is it the same interview or two separate ones?

i didnt get any interviews or anything but i can answer some of ur questions, first off, if u have an interview for more then one program, its all combined into one interview. and sending in the supplement does not mean u get an interview cus there is a second screening. i cant answer any questions bout RPI-AMC supplement cus i didnt get anything from them either. i jus got the union supplement and rejection from siena.

Hey BSing2MD how did your friend get notified of rejection from union (snail mail or email), I submitted my supplement about 2 weeks ago, is no news good news at this point?

My friend got notified by email, and I also submitted my supplement about 2 weeks ago and still haven’t heard back. It’s strange because my friend found out in a week.

I’m talking about the union application, I still haven’t received anything from RPI. I don’t know if they are still sending supplements for RPI or not…

I just got my RPI Supp today. still no word from Drexel or Union Interview yet though. Anyone get those two?
