Will my GPA kill me? I was hoping to get into RPI/AMC as I focused heavily on research.

I dunno about chancing me back, as I’m already a part of the Case Western PPSP program, but I’ll give you a try :)

If your stats on EC and honors are indeed that amazing, you’ve got a boost there!

I know that my high school GPA certainly wasn’t a 4.0, but they still accepted me in the 1st round of simply looking at scores and essays–make sure your essay for that particular BS/MD program is AMAZING. No copy/paste essays!

For CWRU PPSP, your GPA may be overlooked if your essay, test scores, and research are good enough–and they seem to be

For RPI/AMC–your research sounds good (PubMed? wow) but MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND completely what you did. They will know if you don’t

For Brown PLME–my friend who got in had a 4.0 and they are very selective with the first round of grades and scores so, sorry, it may be an issue
