some honors classes are curved generously. the material is hard, there is a lot of work, but if u can keep up, ur almost guaranteed a good grade. i took honors orgo II and did well, had a relatively low raw avg compared to other classes, but the curve was ridiculously easy and half the class ended up getting A's. spent twice as much time on that class but it was worth in the end.

I'm not in my first semester but I was soooo happy that all my hard work paid off this semester. I wasn't really happy with my grades last year(~3.2ish) and so I tried really hard to crack down and study. I got a 3.7 this semester. According to my friends all I did was study but if that's what it takes... I gotta do what I gotta do.

This semester was close (stupid Materials Lab) but I pulled off all A's

If you do the IB Diploma in HS you'll be A LOT better prepared for college, in terms of the workload. You'll have better study habits and the skills needed to keep up with assignments and amount of material being covered. Its almost at the college level itself, the IB. My sister got to skip a whole year in college b/c she earned so many credits.

I did rather well this quarter. My GPA is ~3.5 which isn't too bad. Ironically what hurt my GPA was the humanities course I was taking!

prolly a 3.0 or 3.3... we have finals later at princeton. damn proud too!

I would have gotten a 3.8 if my music class didnt pull my grade down.. I end up getting a 3.68 T_T

surprisingly, i got 3.94 for my first semester at Penn bioengineering. i expected the transition to be a lot harder. Bioengineering is a little boring though. i am now considering to transfer to the Chemical and Biomolecular department however i am afraid Penn is not in top 10 in CBE. i dont care about rankings that much(eg rejected JHU BE for coming to penn) but do you think that rankings are important for undergrad degree?
