And how did you come up with your topic?

I've been racking my brain non-stop and I just... can't!

Did you write your essay in little increments or all at once? if the latter, how long did it take you?

did you talk to/brainstorm with anyone?

any help would be tremendously appreciated.

If you’re truly passionate about something, it will just click. Well, at least that’s what happened to me lol. I wrote my essay for an 11’th grade AP Lang and Comp assignment - which was to write a powerful “This I Believe” statement. From there I kind of worked with what I had and tweaked it a bit and decided to make it my college essay. it took me about an hour to write. And then I edited it in increments. I would look at maybe one paragraph a week or something like that. Then when I was done I had like 3 teachers look over it. Maybe you’re guidance counselor can sit down an chat with you about what you might want to write about. Talking about it with someone always helps bring forth ideas.

Good luck!
