How did you hear about Brown - actually telling the truth?!

<p>We are on the west coast, so when my daughter was admitted to Brown and accepted it, almost everyone in our family said “what’s Brown?, why isn’t she going to Stanford?”</p>

<p>Almost no one knew of it, except my Aunt and her son went to Princeton, so she told my daughter that Brown was a ‘baby ivy’, not a real one. lol, I am still laughing my butt off.</p>

<p>She is a senior, so maybe missed all these pop culture references, but she didn’t watch much TV growing up and not at all in High School. She does catch up with a few shows now online.</p>

<p>I think it is incredibly poor to talk about TV shows in any Brown essay. I would advise never to do it. I could think it might work as a one-off, but actually people are doing it, so AVOID, and AVOID.</p>

After telling him that he went to brown, the boss says his ■■■■■■■■ gay niece went to brown lol. HYP people are always such d0uches, even in cartoons… and he lost his job because he was a drop out</p>
