Tell how you plan or how you have paid for college, so that other international students do not let go of an opportunity because of financial issues.
I'll start:
I plan to work 20 hrs a week. Annually it would give me about $9000.
Summer internships would give in another $10000 according to my university website.
So I think now I can pay for a public school without any aid.

You will need to be able to demonstrate to the visa officer at the US consulate that you have the money available to cover the full Cost of Attendance as defined by your college/university or you won’t get your student visa. You cannot plan on paying your costs from part-time jobs and summer jobs while studying here. Your work with a student visa will be strictly limited under the policies for CPT.

Yeah I know about it. IMO I did not want my parents to pay the price for my expensive education. Anyway I will have sufficient funds to qualify for entry.

So, your plan to work 20 hours per week will not be feasible, unless this is “under-the-table” work?

It just so happens that my top choice offers loans to parents of international students. That’s how I’m going to pay if I get accepted. For all the other colleges I’m applying, I’m also requesting finaid.
