I am planing to go to NYU and maybe stay in New York if I can find a Wall Street firm to work for. Would this be hard to do or would I be forced back to Canada? Also, can I intern as a international student?

are you gonna keep your canadian citizenship or naturalize to be an american ?

You have to have skills an employer wants badly enough to sponsor you. That's hard with i banks as so many people want the jobs.

can i hold dual citizenship? If not which ever works

You can not just become an American. If you're lucky you can fall in love and marry an American, That's really your best chance. Many Canadians I went to school with did this.

Internships and coops that earn college credit are open to internationals. Working after graduation does require a sponsoring business. The best way to get a company to sponsor you is to intern or coop with them so that they really like you and don't mind the trouble. Lots of Canadians work for large corporations in the U.S. but it isn't a "sure thing"
