How difficult is it to transfer schools within BC?

I’m a senior and I’m debating over whether or not I should apply to the Lynch School of Education or the College of Arts & Sciences. My two major interests are English & Secondary Education. How difficult would it be to switch from LSOE to CAS or vice versa if I decided I didn’t want to pursue an education degree?

You should apply directly to Lynch. The acceptance rates are pretty much the same across the board and the preprofessional schools can only absorb the number of students that transferred out. For instance: 6 CSOM students leave? 6 enter. While it is easier to transfer into Lynch than CSOM, it MUCH easier to transfer into A&S.

As a secondary ed major you would be required to have a second major (which in your case would be English), so if you decided to transfer into A&S after your freshman year, you would have taken some classes already.

P.S. You have to wait a full year to transfer schools.
