Usually, intermediate microeconomics is a prerequisite for econometrics. Is this not the case at your school?
Nope. The core math requirements are all that is needed. So calc and stats.
You probably need to ask upper class students in the economics major about how difficult and how much work those courses are at your school, and if knowledge of intermediate microeconomics is helpful in econometrics even though it is not a listed prerequisite.
