I only have experience with the math and writing courses. Basically for math you have a textbook, instruction software that had awesome lectures, and a tutor. The tutor would administer tests and all questions were directed towards him/her. The class was most certainly not easy and I worked really hard for an A-. And regarding the tests, you sign an honor code and have every opprotunity to cheat if you wish. But at least with math, it was essentially impossible to cheat at all but I guess in AP Macro you could. I personally prefer CTYOnline to school classes because you could set your own pace and get done a lot of coursework really quickly. In addition, all of the instructors I’ve had have been incredibly well qualified (PHD in the subject area). I’m sure AP courses vary somewhat from what I’ve taken so I think you should contact CTY if you have any questions.
