How do I do this?

I am 25 years old and am finally back in college after life got in the way. I am paying for everything by myself with some financial aid. Currently I work 30 hours a week and go to school full time. I have a car payment (and all the little things that go with a car-gas, insurance, etc) and a phone bill as my only none school bills. My job doesn't pay a whole lot so I make just enough to pay for these things and have very little left over. My dream is to major in theatre. The problem is theatre involves a lot of time commitment. I am just scraping by working what I do. Getting rid of the car is not an option. I will finish paying it off December of 2012. Do I put off school more? Is there an option I don't see. Am I fooling myself thinking I can major in theatre?

Thank you for any help.

Is there a school with a good theatre program that is close to your parents home (so you won’t need to cover room and board) at least for the first 2 years?

You can minimize some of your costs by going to school locally for 2 years before transferring to a more expensive college for junior and senior year. Maybe you could get your car paid off by that time if you make extra payments during the next 2 years.

How many college credits do you have now?

I wouldn’t put schooling off; you’re already 25. This is the time for theatre.
