I go to the work study page through ursa and see a bunch of job listings. Do I simply email the person my resume? thanks a lot.

Each listing is different, and has different contact instructions. Generally, just send an email with a nice cover letter and resume/CV to the contact person. Read the details for specific instructions each job might have.

Do you have to qualify for financial aid to get work study?

Work-study is a source of financial aid. Work-study is offered by the Financial Aid Office, and your work-study awards must be accepted, if offered, on your eFAN.

@phospholipase thank you! If the info doesn’t say to include a cover letter, could I simply just send in a resume?

I think a good introduction would be better than nothing. Just a few sentences introducing your name, major, and interest in the job would be nice.

I just sent an email with my resume attached. But in the email I wrote who i was (name, year, major, good stuff about you that reflects you’d be good for the job). Just dont apply to one and wait, you should apply to multiple at a time, you dont always here back from them. I applied to alot, and only heard back from 2. One of which I have been working for since freshman year ;]
