How do I hide a grade from my transcript?

I got a D+ in bio during sophomore year because my mom was having open heart surgery and I had to stay in the hospital a lot to take care of her. I missed a lot of work and my teacher wouldn’t let me make up the work for some reason. I plan on going to good universities like WashU and maybe some ivies. I’ve gotten a couple B’s in the past but a lot of A’s. I plan on going into pre med. I tried asking my counselor if I can audit the class but she said no because it was too late. Is there a way I can hide the grade from my transcript? I really don’t want to own up to it because it partially wasn’t even my fault. Should I have my counselor address the C I’m her Rec Letter? Can someone help? Also, I ended up replacing the bio class during second sem for a study hall so I can catch up. It won’t show up that I dropped the class on my transcript, I’m simply just replacing it. Will this hurt my chances into prestigious colleges? Someone help. I’m panicking!!!

So sorry about your mother and I hope that she is better. Was it a D+ or a C? Perhaps I am misunderstanding. If the school was aware of this situation in advance or at the time I would have thought that they could have made some accommodations for you. I want to advise you not to get into the mindset of hiding things but to see what you can do to bring your GPA up for Junior year. Honesty is the best policy and perhaps as part of one of your college essays you can discuss how you bounced back from adversity.

You can’t and submit an accurate and honest application. Since the forum does not exist to provide advice on how to be unethical, I am closing this thread. Plus the OP violated ToS by opening a second account to ask the question.
