How do I make my EC's not seem superficial on a college app

I have a whole bunch of EC’s and I am able to be committed to all of them because most of them are seasonal. For example, in the fall I do volleyball and mock trial, in the winter I do MUN and Academic decathlon, in the spring I do beach volleyball, and in the summer, I do internships and volunteer for habitats for humanity. The rest of my activities I do throughout the year. I want to show a college that I don’t just do these activities superficially and for the sake of putting something on my resume. How do i show this to a college?

Here are my EC’s:
Piano all my life, JV Volleyball 9th+10th grade, Varsity Volleyball 11th+12th (CIF Champions, Regional Semifinalists), Club Volleyball 9th+10th+11th, Peer Tutoring 10th+11th+12th, Varsity Academic Decathlon 10th+11th+12th (captain 10th+11th), MUN 10th+11th+12th, Mock Trial 10th+11th+12th, Internship at St. Joseph’s hospital 9th+10th+11th+12th, Internship at local law firm 11th+12th, Volunteering at CHOC children’s hospital 11th+12th, Created a local charity organization called Healing For Hope (care packages for children at CHOC hospital), Volunteering for Habitats for humanity 10th+11th+12th

Write about them in your essay/supplements. There’s almost always at least one question that enables you to elaborate on your ECs–this is the space where you demonstrate that you are genuine in your interests, and generally it’s smart to connect your ECs to what you want to major in/do in your career. It’s also possible you’ll be limited in how many ECs you can list–so pick the ones that mean the most to you, and that tell a story. They should be relevant to your major/intended career, though I say it’s OK to include a few that were meaningful to you, even if they don’t serve an “end game.”

You probably don’t have the same level of passion for ALL of them. So number one, sort them so they are prioritized with the ones you are most passionate about at the top of your list. If you have a chance in your essays, you can talk about them – probably not all of them, but maybe a few. If you have “why college x?” essays and you could continue some of them there, mention that. Also, you are in the good position of having done most of them long term, colleges will notice that. I would not worry about it much other than that.
