How do I make time to study for AP tests?

My course load this year is very demanding. I have 2-4 hours of homework a night and I get home at 4 o’clock. But, I have 3 AP tests (Lang, Stat, APUSH) that I need to start studying for. My question is how, on top of 2-4 hours of homework a night, I am to manage this.

I am going to start studying next Monday - April 6, which leaves a little bit more than a month for APUSH and 5 weeks for Stat and Lang (on the same day [going to die]). My APUSH teacher will be having study sessions twice a week and I am taking the SAT II in that subject the weekend before the AP, so I feel the most prepared for that test. My Stat teacher is terrible and my Lang teacher is amazing so I think I will need to dedicate the most time to Stat, second most to APUSH, and least amount to Lang.

What do you suggest for study time each day? 1 hour each, 30 minutes each?
Do I just need to man up and study through 10pm each night until my tests are over?
Are there less time-consuming ways then sitting down with a book and doing practice problems to study?

Thank you.

@pencilpen7 LOL… I am in the same situation as well… I have 3 AP tests and Subject Test on May 2. I also have a ACT test this month, which I just started studying this weekend. I planned to study like a little every day but it is always hard to keep up. My APUSH teacher suggest watching one video or read for 30 minutes before going to sleep every night, so by the time of AP test, then we will be done reviewing. She also suggest taking practice test every other weekend to get better at the timing and the test and stuff. For AP language, I have no plan of attack at all, but I am probably going to take a practice test the weekends that I am not taking APUSH practice. I don’t have AP Stat, but I do have AP Physcis I, so idk how you will study that…

If you’re just going for exam scores, cramming is the most efficient way. There’s not really anything to study for lang except the format and basic vocab. AMSCO seems to be recognized as the best APUSH resource on CC, so read through that. I’d go for 15-30 minutes of APUSH a day, memorizing a few key points for essays, then cram stat starting a few days before the exam. Take official practice exams/past exams (ask your teacher for these) and focus on any topics you didn’t understand.
