How do i prepare for the SAT?

I'm in the 10th grade in India. I am planning to give the SAT at the beginning of my 11th grade i.e. around march-june 2013.

I really think I need coaching classes but since I live in a small town I dont think I'll actually be able to go to Delhi for the course (thats about the only place they have princeton review in India).
I was wondering if Jamboree is worth it. Even that will take me a 1.5 hr drive to get to.
Or should i do the princeton review online course

So should I do any of these courses at all.
I aim for a 2100+ score.

Also since these courses will be about 10 weeks max. should I do some other test prep too. I occasionally solve practice tests. Do you think that'll get me anywhere?

get a copy of The Official SAT Study Guide

as for classes or online, i am sorry that i don’t know your area enough to say. i personally would probably doublecheck for local tutors. whatever you do, i recommend 1 on 1 help and if you feel like its not working, stop and find something else. there are many good sources of help, but also many scams.

batgirl do you think it would be worth it to actually go prepare like that or just study at home?

you are in 10th grade. i would say maybe study on your own and try a fall or winter SAT test. if you get what you want for a score, great. if you dont, you have time to decide what kind of extra help to get and can retake in the spring.
