How do I send in my research papers?

Hi!

I am an international applicant who will be applying to Harvard for the class of 2019. I have done a substantial amount of research work in the last 2-3 years(9th-now). My research has been published in an international journal and also two national journals. Both are peer-reviewed journals. I have also won a 2nd place award in my category at the Intel ISEF last year.
While applying, is there a way to send the papers to the adcomm so that they consider my research as a part of my application? Or should I just mention links to my papers in the additional information section?

Any help from people with knowledge about such things/people who have actually done it will be of great help.

Cheers!
HF.

Call admissions and ask them. How long are the papers? Admissions will most likely care about the fact that you wrote the papers, where they were published, and awards won, without actually reading them, but it is always possible that the department might like to see them. I would definitely call: you don’t have to identify yourself. Make sure you talk to someone who knows, because there are often student interns or work-study students answering the phone.

@compmom Thanks for replying! I will call and ask them. The papers are 6-15 pages long(The version which was edited by a professor in the proper format as suggested by the various journals e.g, font size 11, etc.)

Edit: The professor who helped me write the paper was not my mentor. I did not have any mentor as such. The original unedited versions written by me were around 20-50 pages long.

From the Harvard website:

As compmom said, call them if you have further questions. Good luck!

@skieurope Thanks for your help!

The Adcoms won’t read them, but it is possible that they will redirect them to the appropriate department if you submit a link or pdf. Also, I would choose one paper to highlight as though it were a writing sample. The others can simply be listed under a “publications” section on your CV.

@CUsenior4265‌ So should I put a link to both the papers in the additional information section?
Will that suffice? Should I also explain my work in brief along with putting up the links?
