How do I start studying for AP Biology?

I'm taking AP Biology at school but we've only gotten so far and I haven't officially started studying for it yet.
I'm going to use:
Cliffsnotes
Barrons
For studying.

However, I have to take SAT 2 Bio in June also (should I take E or M?) and I have no idea how to prep for it at the same time.

Also, how did you study for AP Bio, especially those of you who got a 5 this year? Did you read the whole book or rely only on the prep books? Did you take separate notes? How did you memorize all the information? When did you start taking practice tests? Is the information in the prep books enough? What's the lab thing that everyone's talking about?

Is it possible to study another AP along with it (AP Micro)?

Thank you! And please respond ASAP!!!

Hi! I am currently taking AP Bio too and planning to take Sat 2 bio. I know it can be a pretty interesting class but we have a lot to cover. Our class is moving on rly fast cuz the teacher is worried that we might not finish the content on time. She wanted to use the whole April as our prep exam time. Cliffnotes and Barrons are some of the most detailed prep books compared to other books like Kaplan and Princeton Review. What works out for me is read the whole textbook and learn the important big themes. However, details can be as important so don’t miss them. I don’t mean dates and too specific things but you know  It’s impossible to take practice tests when you haven’t covered the whole content yet. So make sure you go over the whole thing and then start taking practice exams. However, what you can do is solve some practice questions related to particular chapters that you have gone over. I personally can’t only rely on the prep books. I recommend getting a legit textbook. Our class uses Pearsons. But I guess for Sat 2, you can use prep books. Sat 2 will be so easy after studying for AP so don’t worry. If you wanna enter medical school, then take M. M encompasses more contents related to stuff like genetics. E has things like evolution.
