How do I update my UC application after the Transfer Academic Update deadline?

Hello,

I applied to a few UC's (UCLA, UCB, UCI, UCSD) to transfer as a Psychology major for Fall 2013. I already filled out my Transfer Academic Update before the January 30th deadline, but just recently, on April 2, I dropped a class and received a W.

I logged onto the UC application website to update my application but I can't find any place on the website that will allow me to remove the class I dropped.
What is the best thing for me to do here? I already got into UCI and UCSD, should I notify them over the phone/email? Or is it too late?

UCLA and UCB are releasing acceptances in 5 days!! Will dropping this class affect my chances of getting in? Should I email/call them as well? Or will they see that on their own?

Lastly, if anyone can give me step-by-step instructions on updating my UC application or tell me what I'm doing wrong, I would be really grateful!

I am a 4.0 GPA student, hoping to transfer for UCLA. The class I dropped (psychobiology) will not affect my 60 transferable units or IGETC and it is not a part of my major requirements, I was taking it just for fun. This will also be my first W.

Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!

I think it will look worse if the schools, on getting your final transcripts, see that you didn’t even make an attempt to notify them of the W. Send an email to each one. If you’re saying it’s an inconsequential class, they will recognize that, and I don’t think it will affect you too much.

Definitely tell them. You honestly should have asked before dropping it.

How to update academic info for each UC after the TAU:

I also had pretty much the same situation (except I TAG’d UCSD so I might be screwed because I dropped an elective course, I don’t know).

Also, if it’s an elective class that doesn’t affect anything too much then it shouldn’t be a problem. However, you need to notify them regardless.
