How do I write an essay to my college explaining disciplinary action?

Hello, y'all. I'm a senior in high school and I've been accepted to this Top 20 college. However, 20 days before graduation, I was faced with something that led me to decide to "withdraw" from my (boarding) school, pending disciplinary action (fucking snitches (I hate them)). Those charges were quite severe and were communicated to my college. By withdrawing I had enough credits to earn a state diploma, but I didn't earn a diploma for my school. I also lost almost all credits for my current classes, since I withdrew. So I recently received a message telling me to write my college a letter explaining the circumstances around "that." I realize that it's probably not going to change anything, but I want to write a one because it would be useful to have it in the future.

How would I write such a letter?

Thanks.

You need to pick up the phone to the college and talk to an Admissions Officer. If the college has asked for the letter, then you need to truthfully detail the circumstances, which only you know, so no one on CC is going to be of much help.
