I have many ECs, but I am trying out for volleyball this season. How will I manage?

bump!! I have track everyday till 6:30 and backetball 2 times a week from 8-9:30… how could I still do ECs???

^ same here. You just have to be efficient and not procrastinate.

Its called lying on your applications. Not that hard.

I mean that I am obligated to practice for a few academic teams after school, the same time as sports; how do other people participate in these ECs, but do sports at the same time?

My best advice is to prioritize & not procrastinate.

give up a big part of your social life

Yeah, I see but practice times are conflicting? How do I manage this? If you want to play a sport, how do you also do Science Olympiad and Academic Bowl when the practices are at the same time.

Agree with post #4. It’s tremendously difficult to participate in a sport, have excellent extracurriculars, and maintain a high GPA. It’s doable, but it really sucks. Trust me. Those couple months will (hopefully) fly by though, since you’re so busy. Like everyone else has said, don’t procrastinate and manage your time wisely. Write stuff down. Talk to your coaches/extracurricular sponsors if there are conflicts.
