How do teachers write recommendation not on common app?

Do i ahve to tell my teacher all my schools? I met my counsler and i didnt really tell her all the schools i was going to bc im still looking and she doesnt know the deadlines… Idk im so confused… My 2 teachers said they will write one but should i invite them on common app right now? Or after i giive them the list of all the 9 schools im applying to? One of the schools want the teachers to email them, so how will they know their email?

And if i email the school, wouldnt the letters and essay get mixed up so how willl they know whos who? Bc the online application is seperate…

And also, theres an application on both common app and on the college website, so do i do both?

Im really confused esp withr eccomendation letters… Bc idk if i have to give them like an envelope bc my college didnt have an envelope, just an email…

Bc if i add them on common app, thers only 2 schools out of 9, so if they write two, and how will they know the other 7 schools? How will they send that to them?

No. You ask your teachers to upload their rec letters and YOU get to decide which schools to send them to. They don’t need a list of your target schools b/c they upload ONE generic one – this is normal.

Since the one school wants the teachers to directly email them, provide that logistical info to the teachers. Who else is going to do it? This isn’t that hard to do.

Your essays won’t be mixed up unless you have a common name (e.g.Tranh or Johnson). This isn’t something to freak about. if they have a question, they simply email and ASK. Simple, no?

Use common app since you’re applying to multiple schools. If you were only applying to one school, then use it and be done. But since you’re targeting 9, save yourself trouble and use the Common App.

“I’m really confused esp with recommendation letters… Bc idk if i have to give them like an envelope bc my college didn’t have an envelope, just an email…” I assume this school doesn’t take Common App rec letters? Then what’s so confusing. Pass the email to the teacher. Really. Use your problem solving skills here.
