Hi folks! I have a question about common application and teachers evaluations. I am now in Boston, preparing for colleges, and confusing with papers. Reason is that I have 2 teachers recommendations, translated and notarized on my hands. In common application you should submit online, but its difficult, because I graduated my school long time ago plus language barrier ( my teachers don't know english and how to use common app). Is it possible, use your tutors for recommendations in common app, for submitting and then send via email real evaluations?

Any suggestions? :)

Or just need send letter via email?

Have you read the college websites for instructions? For instance, one college I checked states:

If not stated on their website, call/email admissions offices for their specific instructions.

Finally, i found how to solve problem with teachers recommendations, but now I have another problem :D. I have their names and email, i will invite them, they will sign up on common application and in conclusion write for me recommendations, but problem is that I need evaluations for 10 universities. So, question is, I need to send 20 invitations ( 2 teachers*10 universities)? Or, if they finished recommendations once, I don’t need invite them to write, I can use the same?

You only invite them once. They upload their LOR and the CA keeps it. You indicate which LORs to send to which schools and they are sent when you submit your application.

entomom

Wow, so nice, now I am understand why common application so useful. Thank you very much ^^

I send my invite to teachers, so, they sigh up now in common application. Then, they need complete all blanks inside common application. But teachers say that they have empty students section! They can’t find me. Or need complete additional information section?

Maybe need complete firstly information section, and then they can find me?
