How do u format the essay? and can someone read my essays too.

I finished 2.5 of the essays required u of m, but I am just wondering how u format the essays, and how do u send the essays to U of M.

You can just attach it as a document or type it in. They probably want you to put your information as a header and maybe list the question in the very top… Hope that helps. And I can read your essay if you want. Just PM me.

I have no ideal also, I guess there is no reason to post your question or name on your essay document, since clearly you attach each essay to the particular question. So far all I’ve did is only post my essay under Microsoft Word ( currently working on my 500 word essay).

"Make sure your name, U-M ID Number (if known), Birth date and the question text are on each sheet of paper you include. "

That’s what it says on the application.

Ya, although you are attaching the document right under the question, you should put the question, birth, name, and ID in.

I put my name at the top, birth under it, id under birth…then put the question in italics…Kind of like MLA format

Wow, I’ve looked over the website for such information and never came across that. Oh well, I’ll just place the information on.

Thanks srrinath, I guess I won’t place anything on the essays then.

I actually would like my essays to be reviewed, though I’am alarmed of the risk taking that could be.

If you upload it to their app, your name and details are automatically added to the doc.

If you need a quick read you can PM it over. I’ve already applied

I can read your guys’ essays if you want. I’ve already applied so I won’t jack it xD PM me

But yeah, I formatted my essays just like RON’s, except I didn’t have an ID =[

I plan to submitt my application today, but before doing so I’m not sure if my essays are great. So do anyone know if having parantheses in your essay considered informal?

It depends on what context you’re using it in.

Well I do recall using parantheses two different ways, I guess the admission counsler won’t blow up about it, might overlook if it is informal ( but then again, they are parantheses and likely stand out when reading).

Lol kk. You can PM me the essay if you want me to look over it. The essay is important for someone who is borderline, so make sure it’s good!
