How do updates work in the Yale portal?

Hi guys.
I am applying SCEA for Yale class of 2022. If I want to submit an update (form is available on my portal), is there a guarantee that admissions officers will see it? What if I send it but the committee has already reviewed my application? Does anyone know how these updates work?

I was going to call the admissions office, but figured I would check here first.

I was a little bit confused about this as well. The website does say any updates would be added to our admissions file and be made available for officers to see, but I had the same question: what if they’re done reviewing my application?

Were you able to figure it out?

I sent mine in today. I didn’t call and ask about how it works, but I still might.

Make sure you are only putting in substantial information that is worth their time, and try not to use the update more than once.

They’re not done. Now sending updates on 12/11 would be pointless, IMO. Regardless of when sent, I doubt that the update would be something that would cause an AO to move the application from on pile to another.
