How do visits work?

I know it's the Ivy League, but some schools feel older than others, and Penn feels older than Columbia, but better anyway, so it's all fine.

^ In the Ivy League: older feel = better. :p

(And actually, Penn's campus IS older than Columbia's).

Yeah, I know about Penn's age. Oh well, it's a nice experience. I really liked the place.

Coincidentally, Penn, Columbia, and Cornell have the "newest" campuses in the Ivy League (Penn and Columbia because they moved to their current campuses in the 1870s and 1890s, respectively).

Dude! It's the Ivy League. The Ancient Eight.

I think Cornell is younger than WashU. Ancient 8 doesn't hold true for all 8 Universities.

Actually, in a sense it does: as 45 Percenter notes, Columbia and Penn moved into their current campuses in the 1870s and the 1890s, respectively, and Cornell was established in 1865. In that sense, it's just as old, campus-wise, as the other two, actually a bit older. Although, I know what the Ancient Eight actually means.

i'm at columbia right now, and it's a pretty place, but it makes me miss penn.
