Tomorrow I am taking the SAT for the second time and I was wondering how you approach the reading passages.

I do almost perfect every time on the Math and Writing Sections.
On the reading sections I uaually get every sentence completing right. My only problem is the passage based readings questions.

I need some advice.

Also, I have taken multiple practice tests and I am continuing to take them throughout the day today, but I still do not improve on the passage questinos.

People say to read the questions first and then read the passage so that you know what to look for in the passage. Personally I don't follow that advice. I read the passage quickly, but still carefully, and then I go through the questions sequentially (generally the higher the question number the later in the passage the answer is) and answer them. If I am not positive of an answer I cross out all the answers I can rule out (usually 2-3) as ridiculous and move on. Then once I've reached the end of the questions for that passage I go back and look at the questions I skipped and put down what I feel the best answer is, sometimes I have to make an educated guess. I do not leave any questions blank and I do not skip from passage to passage looking for "easy" points. If I have time at the end I go back to the beginning and work through all the questions again until time runs out.

I'm not saying that this will work for you, but it certainly worked for me since I got an 800.
