Well,

I've been studying for SAT CR for about 4 months BUT I'm still not making an evident improvement.

I started with a score of 530 (from an unofficial test) and I tend to read questions first and read the passage.

Some people say that it is better to read passages first but it seems like it doesn't work for me.

Also, some people say that I should read a lot but well, to be realistic, I have no time to do that.

I'm curious to know how you attack CR questions and your strategies and tips.

Thanks!

you attack it with artillery, air support, tanks, and infantrymen.

clever, just demolish the whole test lol. If you are doing bad in Sent. Comp. then study vocab, or at least suffixes/prefixes. That doesn’t take much time a day. As for passage questions…well, make sure you understand the passage. All the answers are in the passage.

I hav been suggestd to read the times and the ec0n0mist.1 m0re thing, try PR hav a w0rd hit parade.use that to quickly bo0st ur v0cab.m0reover u can try the bo0k “w0rdsmart”

You read through the passage. You make sure you understand what it’s about, what the main argument is if there is one, etc. Then, you read and answer the questions. For those questions like “In line 8, ‘grasped’ most likely means what?”, you go back to line 6 and read lines 6-9 before answering the questions (Some people say not to even look at the possible answers, but try to fill in your own word and then see which one is most like it from the possible answer choices. Frankly, that takes a lot of time, though).

For the ones with two passages, you read passage 1, answer the questions about passage 1. Then you read passage 2 and answer the questions about passage 2. Only then do you answer the questions involving both passages.
