How do you demonstrate passion when you have a variety of interests?

I am interested in many things, including science, particularly biology, the arts, and the humanities. I know that colleges look for people who demonstrate passion, but how am I supposed to do that with so manny passions? Would a passion for a variety of things be valid? How about a passion for learning?

Thanks in advance for all replies.

Just mix them together and do some research.

Step 1: Don’t over-think it. It’s not all that complicated if you step back and look at the big picture. Passion is a pretty heavy word, and underestimated. Passion is something that you are willing to wake up everyday and do that ‘something.’ Every time you do that ‘thing,’ it doesn’t feel like a chore and you’re actually eager to continue, get better, and etc.

Sure, colleges love to see that students have one underlying interests, but they don’t expect you to have your life figured out. To be honest, I didn’t really find my passion or my main interest until the end of my senior year of high school, when I was already accepted into college. With some people, it’s instant and some, it might take some time. Don’t try to please the college/university you’re applying to, do the things that you enjoy and those activities will shine the most towards colleges.

@FantasyVesperia‌ Thanks. That really clears it up. I don’t intend to try to be a college pleaser, I was just a little confused about that.
