<p>It’s not that useful because it doesn’t take into account my awful ECs…it just recommends HYPSM based on my test scores. I don’t really like college search tools in general because I never know how picky to be…there aren’t any schools that actually match all my desired criteria in every section, but if I’m too general I don’t get anything useful. </p>
<p>I don’t believe any college match tool that outputs Harvard as one of my matches, LOL. I have a pretty solid idea of my matches, safeties, reaches, etc - so I really have no need to use college matchers. </p>
<p>That’s kind of amusing - it actually turned out to be too pessimistic, in my case! My GPA is horrendous by College Confidential standards; I do, however, have good essays and EC’s, which the program can’t account for. I already got into quite a few schools that Supermatch rejected right out of the gate. :)</p>

I just used it out of curiosity… but once it matched me to a bunch of Ivy schools, I realized it’s not very accurate
