<p>How many Harvard applicants are 4.0/2300+, dya reckon? Am one of these, but my ECs are very meh.</p>
<p>^ The way it seems, lots. I’m only taking the ACT and three subject tests in December, but I hope my scores are near perfect to make up for GPA. :\ My ECs are pathetic, lol. Congrats on your GPA and scores, though!</p>

Only 2 current EC’s, and going to list 2 more that I’ll be doing over the Summer. (They aren’t related to HS at all.)
Test scores are…well, let’s talk about that some other time after I take it in Dec. again, haha.
I’ll be sending in my app before I take the SAT II, since that’ll be in January. Let’s hope I don’t screw it up, lol. GPA is good, though!

<p>Nah, it’s not that it was hard. The time was what got me. Obviously, I’m an SAT kind of person, lol. I remember I had like 10 left unanswered math when the proctor called the 5 minute mark, and so I just christmas-tree-ed it! No guessing penalty and just went for it! I mainly wanted to give both tests a shot to see which I’m best at. The answer came back pretty clear. Hah! And thank you! :)</p>

<p>Ha, if time’s your problem, not sure if the SATs will be any better. My score would probably go up 50-100 points with like 2 extra minutes. Really, all the SATs actually test is how fast you can do the problem; pretty much anyone on CC could get a perfect 800, especially on the math section, with a few extra minutes. Oh well, just do as many practice tests as possible.</p>
<p>I fall under this category! It astounds me how much cool stuff people do… college confidential is like the number one way to feel bad about yourself. but applying nonetheless!</p>

<p>What would you guys consider an average application? With the admission rate or Harvard, I’d live to just be average if that means I still have a chance. I haven’t taken many AP classes but have a 33 ACT and a 4.0 GPA. EC’s aren’t too good. Ugh I hate this guys</p>
<p>I honestly consider average to be anyone who hasn’t been interviewed by a celebrity for their work or hasn’t been written about in the NYT for harvard… I’m setting my expectations low! that way, disappointment will be bearable and success will be all that more screamable</p>
