How Do You Guys get High SAT scores :(!!!

<p>It seems like i study and study, but all for nothing the first time I took the SATS in MAY 2010 I got a 1220, the second time in October I Got a 1450 and I really want to get like a 1800+, I've read all the books (Princeton Review, Kaplan), had someone coach me along the way but nothing seems to help..... </p>

<p>So I was wondering how does everyone here get good scores
- How did you study the vocab, How do you know all the vocab????
- How did you do the essay on time??
- Math ????</p>

<p>I just studied a lot over the summer and fall. Here’s what you should do:</p>

<li><p>Print out <a href=“http://img.sparknotes.com/content/testprep/pdf/sat.vocab.pdf[/url]”>http://img.sparknotes.com/content/testprep/pdf/sat.vocab.pdf&lt;/a&gt; and take it everywhere you go. Read it over and over and over again, every day, whenever you’re bored in class or waiting for the bus. A few weeks before you take the test, sort all the words by meaning and synonym. You don’t need to memorize their definitions, just link them to some meaning, like “bad” or “smelly.”</p></li>
<li><p>Buy the Official SAT Study Guide. Read it. ALL of it. Take the practice tests. ALL of the practice tests. In a library, timed, by yourself, with no music or food or distractions or anything.</p></li>
