I was accepted, and I just wanted to know what you guys think about Hofstra. What does it have to offer?

I am definitely interested in hearing about Hofstra as well. It would be great if someone could tell us what they think. Also someones thoughts on the honors college would be great too.

Are either of you going to the accepted students' days this coming weekend? My D received a scholarship and we are going down to visit. She is still waiting to hear from two other colleges she applied to.

I am unfortunately unable to attend the day, I am heading to Chicago to go to tour another college that day. I wish I was able to though

i was recently accepted to hofstra and will be attending the accepted students day this weekend..i'm also curious as to everyone's opinion of the school and what kind of college experience it offers.

What were your thoughts about Hofstra after visiting? We are going down this week and would like to hear any points of view.

Ive been at hofstra for a year and i think its a really good school. A lot of people say there are a lot of commuters there but thats not true. If you live on campus there are plenty of people that are always there even on holidays. Theres plenty of on campus things to keep you busy and if not then theres plenty of things to do on the Hempstead Turnpike alone. The teachers are extremely professional; a majority having obtained their masters in their work. I highly recommend Hofstra to anyone, and the school is only getting better by the oncoming years

I visited - HATED the campus. It’s really not that pleasing to look at. The buildings are small and ugly. I just did not feel Hofstra had a true university feel to it. Sorry to say this in such crude terms but it is what it is.

What does hofstra take in account most for perspective students??
