Hi,
I’m an International student. I applied to PCC and waiting for reply and I’m thinking to apply to DVC or OCC (not sure if OCC course are transferable or not). I’m thinking to study Architecture, and both CC (DVC, PCC) lower divisional courses can be transferred to most Uni that I’m aiming for. Like UCB, UCLA not 100% sure, Cal poly, USC, or Sci-arc. Also, DVC claims to have the “highest transfer to UCB”, but it’s quite outdated data. I wonder on what factors do you decide on to make your choice?
Thank you
Are you aware that Berkeley and UCLA do not offer accredited architect programs, you would need to go on to grad school to get licensed (here in the US, not sure about where you are from).
Try and attend the CC closest to the college you wish to attend, they will provide the most transfers. On the other hand, certain CC’s may have more classes which will be transferable for architecture.
@1andonly Yes, I know they don’t offer B.Arch in their school. I’m still not sure if I should do 5 years or 4+2 yet…
