<p>If I was class president in Junior year and I wanted to put this on my Common App what would I write for "hours spent per week" and "weeks spent per year"? I was class president for the whole year, would this effectively be 52 weeks spent per year and then (24*7)=168 hours per week?</p>

<p>Put the number of hours per week that you spent on class president work.
You can most likely put the number of weeks in a school year, but if you also did the same amount of work on this position over the summer you could put 52 weeks. </p>
<p>I agree. How many weeks a year did you really have activities? I am sure you could put the whole school year, but then think about whether you really had to do stuff over summer break. Then think about how many hours/week you were doing activities really related to your role. Maybe attending student council meetings, meeting with others about this, some kind of role in assemblies, representing your class somehow. Maybe only a couple of hours/week when you get down to it. But that is fine. “Being” class president and “acting in the capacity of class president” where you are really doing something are two different things. They want the hours for the second one…</p>
