I applied to 12 schools. I HATE this question, because I always manage to forget one when constantly spitting the list out (I know, it's not too good, lol)

My friend jokes that I'll be receiving acceptance (or rejection) letters to places I didn't eve know I'd applied to :);

I usually try to answer in alphabetical order so it's easier to remember though...

What's the point in not telling anyone where you applied? IMO, people who don't list a single school are *******s. If someone asks you such a simple question, it doesn't hurt you to say one nearly obvious college you are applying to. I hate the kids who don't tell anyone where they apply (know a girl who didn't even tell her boyfriend). I understand that it gets annoying after a while, but there it takes less effort to give one name than to go back and forth trying to not tell someone your precious list. There was also a girl at my school who bled Wharton, then in mid December you find out that she got into Columbia. What was the point of lying to people for 3 months?

This question is getting very annoying. Pretty soon I'm just going to say I got into Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Stanford with full ride scholarships to all of them.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's so personal about college lists anyway.
I assume it's also rude to ask people if they got into somewhere...is it?
Or what school they ended up choosing?

I guess I'll just let the rumours sift through my Facebook.

It is probably rude to ask people where they got in if you don't know them that well. But if you are friends, I do not see why you can't ask. I don't find it very personal at all, it's just rather dumb because people aren't familiar with colleges that aren't HYPS.
