I think these “missing” scores that the lady was talking about was the ones from LAST year. The ones that you self reported your scores on your application? In that case you can report them by phone right now… I did this a couple of months ago. Just call the number and punch in the right information.

If you are talking about the AP test scores that you took May 2009 then I think there is another deadline for that. Don’t take my word for it though…

I remember we filled out the college to send your scores to when we took the AP test. I read in another thread that if we filled out the college we were attending, they would automatically receive the grades for 2009 AND all previous year’s tests. Does anyone know if that’s true?

Your likely missing test scores from last year (or previous years). Just call the phone number and follow the instructions. It will say the office is closed at first but then it’ll give you an option for previous years later.

We also called the College Board and they confirmed that on July 1st they will send a CUMMULATIVE (past and current scores) report. They also said that it takes between one and two weeks for the university to receive it. The only issue would be if you want to have it sent “rush delivery” for more peace of mind that it will arrive before July 15th.

You would think College Board will send it by July 15; otherwise, everyone’s test scores will be late unless they do a “rush delivery”. What happens if it does get late?

do you have to send UCI your AP scores?
does it directly affect admissions?
what if you just send in sat 2 scores instead? are ap scores considered only for admissions/placement/ both

does this apply for other colleges.

sorry im not too good with this whole forum thing yet. =[

It’s for placement mainly and also to establish your standing (which affects how early or late you enroll). For instance, taking some AP English will waive you of a writing course 39A; in such cases you can just bring your unofficial transcript (with your AP scores listed) to the School of Humanities student affair’s office (or other School of Biological Science/Physical Science/Engineering depending on your AP test), and show them, and they’ll mark it off.

However, if you an entering Freshman, then it may affect you admission-wise because they want to see that you actually took the AP tests instead of just listing it in your application/lying about it.
