How do you study for...

A foreign language quiz or test? I use to get high A's in spanish, and lately i've been doing bad, and i don't know whats been going on. So what do you guys do to study for a foreign language, and for tests/quizzes just in general?

What types of quizzes are you getting? I remember back when I was taking German, quizzes were pretty easy if you followed along in class. We usually had vocabulary and grammar quizzes. If you're having trouble just remembering the vocabulary, try using flash cards. I hate them, and I'm forced to make them for English, but I know they work wonders for tons of people. With a foreign language, be sure to include gender and conjugations on your card as well. Also, for the grammar sections, make sure you take a lot of notes during class, getting as many examples of usage as possible.

cards for vocab

write out example sentences and label them for grammer

Making index cards and quizzing your friends/being quizzed helps for vocabulary. For grammar, it helps to do exercises that allow for practice of the grammatical rules. And take lots of notes.
