How do YOU study?

Is it bad that I do not consider studying the night before to be cramming?

I almost never study. My version of studying is doing the homework before the test :</p>

I’ve found that, usually, when I study, I do worse on tests. I just start to second guess myself

patwita: For tennis (fall), I come home around 5-6 for practice and 6-7 for games. For soccer (winter) and track (spring), 4-4:30 for practice, and 5-6 for games. I don’t sleep very much because of different reasons so I’m tired easily which makes it easier for me to nap. For example, I sometimes play too much during the weekends (hang out, stay up too late to play games) and neglect my homework and studies so I cram it all on Sunday. I stay up late and wake up like a zombie for Monday, which makes the rest of my week miserable (smart, I know). So yeah, I get home and I either nap, then wake up at like 9 PM or sometimes 12 AM(on days when I’m extremely sleep-deprived), finish homework at 3-4, then sleep and wake up at 7. It’s a horrible schedule, but that’s how I’ve been surviving so far, haha.

^ woah, soccer is a winter sport for u??

Yeah! What season is it for you?? Well, I guess it depends if you’re a male or female too. In my school, girls’ tennis season is in the fall and guys’ is in the spring.

^at my school, soccer is fall for both guys and girls. we don’t have a tennis team. as for soccer, doesn’t it get way too cold to actually play?? unless u live in an area where winter doesnt get too cold.

Answer: Read the book and take notes.

Get a good night’s sleep.

Cramming in the early hours of the night has never ever worked for me.

I study every day a little bit so I don’t have to cram, which never works anyway. Studying every day saves me a lot of time the day before a test, and I feel more mentally ready during the assessment because I’m less worn out. And no, definitely no energy drinks.

collegeluva101: I live in CA so we don’t get snow or anything, but it does get freezing. Sometimes when I get subbed out, I’d start shaking like crazy even with my jacket on >.>

Procrastinate until the night before and then right before bed I study. And i usually cram in school the next day. It helps me remember, but bad habit.

I usually start studying two or three days before a test… Then stay up late on the last night, with lots of coffee and energy drinks to keep me going…
