Do you intentionally lock yourself in your room? Do you pop a pill or two for a brevity of concentration? Do you set a certain time limit? Do you figuratively fight yourself to study?

How do you do it?

How do you do it?

Usually, if any studying, I'll read through my notes once or twice, or maybe kind of review the things that need to be memorized in my head.

For AP exams, I was a little more organized, marking off chapters I thought I needed to review in the review book, reading them, and doing the questions at the end.

I sometimes plan to study, but have never really studied for anything beyond glancing over a quiz or something.

do a bunch of practice questions on what you're going to be tested on. review the answers and the questions you got wrong, then go back and review the chapters those questions relate to. re-take the test (don't mark the answers of the test IN the book when taking the test), this time you should get less amount of questions wrong. but if you still get some wrong, go back to those chapters and study again.

drink lots of water while studying too, it helps keep you concentrated (i read that somewhere)

Water Ftw!!!!

I don't study.

I don't study as well.

I've only studied for AP exams, and to do so (if I have the time), I read the instructional material in my Barron's (<3) book and do the chapter quiz for each chapter. I never have time to finish, but if I did, I'd do some full practice tests at the end.

I don't study, at least not at home. I tend to do my own thing in class and learn the material that way (teachers move too slowly).

I never studied a lot unless it was a big test, but then again I never really had to. If I did I would just do some review questions, look over past papers/notes, and/or read over whatever it was in text book.

Yeah... I have to add myself to the list of people who don't study.

study?

what?

I don't "study". I do homework and stuff. Well I guess I do study if you consider cramming 5 minutes before the test studying. I did study a bit for AP exams though.

Stuh dee? What?

I have a whole ****load of busy work, so I usually just crank up the headphones and go on a typing rampage. I can type accurately at well over 90 WPM so it's much easier for me.

what? you guys are crazy..how do you not study?

well, when i think about it, it's true. it's known that the more you concentrate and absorb in class, the less you actually have to study...

edit: lol i'm full of all these tips on concentration/studying/etc

^ Pretty much. Learn from all your busywork and you don't need to study.

Of course I do that 3 week AP test cram every year.

Oh, like anyone cannot type over 90WPM these days... ;)

The period before my test, or maybe 2 periods before if it's a hard class.

i can't concentrate with music/tv/people talking in the background..i usually have to lock myself in my room and sit there going over my notes and previous tests..
