how do you track your Yale Application?

<p>i applied electronically through the Common App.</p>

<p>on the Yale website, it asks for an "Eli Account". however, i never received a username or password from Yale for any sort of Eli Account.</p>

<p>when i look anywhere else on the website, it just says what to do if you have forgotten your passwords or log-in name or how to activate the account. nothing about how to get the account itself.</p>

<p>what do i do?</p>

<p>how long ago did you apply? it’ll take a week or so to get your eli account. yale will e-mail you with your login information.</p>

<p>Also, it may take longer now since the admissions office will be closed for the holidays. I’m not sure, though.</p>

<p>i applied on December 12th. so about a week and a half ago. </p>

<p>i havent received anything from yale in the mail or through e-mail. i’ll just wait a while i guess.</p>

<p>don’t worry. you’re applying at a heavy-traffic time, and as an above poster mentioned the admissions office may be closed over the holidays.</p>

<p>I applied on 12/15 and got my account info in my email this morning (12/22).</p>

<p>I know, I am freaking out Yale is my dream school and they havent sent me anything for a week and a half now.

<p>Don’t worry at all! Last year I applied SCEA so the applicants were much less in number but still I waited about 2.5 weeks. I know how impatient you guys are and how nerve-wracking this whole process can be. You’ll see that it’s worth it though!</p>

<p>Do we only receive one email from Yale about the Eli account?</p>

<p>On the Yale website, it states that applicants receive an e-mail after submitting the application. This email details whether there’s an alumni interviewing committee in the area.</p>

<p>Is that email the same as the Eli account email? Or should I have received an email right after submission?</p>
