How do you wear your hair?

I've got wavy hair down to the middle of my black. It's naturally black, but I got it permed, and now it's this vaguely auburn color. I usually wear it in a side part so that a curtain of it hangs across my forehead.

I would like a jew-fro too actually

Whoever said girls look beautiful with curly/wavy hair - I totally agree. That's actually one of the first things I notice.

But I have no clue about my straight black hair... short seems like the only option.

I have perfectly straight long blonde hair, and I do absolutely nothing with it--just wear it down. I don't brush it or blow dry it or anything. I basically shower, throw it up in a ponytail/bun, and it'll dry by around 4th period, so from then on I leave it down. As long as I don't put my hair tie on too tight, it dries perfectly straight and silky. It's so easy--I'm in love with my hair :)

Kat41911 your hair sounds awesome! ;)

Thanks, MetdethGNR!

black, shoulderish length hair with side bangs to cover up my big forehead (:
sometimes up, usually down, occasionally half up half down
depends what time I wake up for school and if I can find a hair tie, haha.
I like my hair, I don't need to comb it and it's fine.

Gotta agree on the wavy hair for girls.

As a guy, I've got that kind of hair that is slightly wavy when it gets long so it usually likes to go every which way unless I comb/dry it perfectly, and I don't have the heart to put gel in it. Otherwise and alota times even if it is really poofy.

Lol I don't brush mine. It sort of brushes itself ifIi keep it up for a few hours. My hair is really long and sorta thick and dirty blonde. It's wavy underneath, and straight on top, creating the illusion of eternal tangles. I've never had it cut professionally (look at the ends lol). The hair is halfway between my butt and shoulders, no bangs, I wear it down unless I'm at work. Here:

ahhh I hope that's allowed.

Melancholy, I don't want to speak for everyone, but I personally find my hair incredibly annoying when it's not straightened. It feels neater and cleaner and just more comfortable when it's straight.

My hair is really thick and naturally wavy/curly, and kind of a chestnut brown. I too (like everyone else) straighten it most mornings. I just think it looks better on me that way and it's much less of a hassle than having to use product in my naturally wavy hair. Plus, with wavy hair sometimes it will look great and sometimes it will just be a frizzy mess. With straight hair it almost always looks good!

I wear it however it looks when I wake up in the morning... meaning the physical proof of the chaos theory.

I wear my hair down usually, although sometimes I'll put my hair up in a half-ponytail...i dunno how to describe my hair...it's light brown with blondish (natural) highlights...it's also straight, shoulder-lengthed, and layered...i also have angled bangs, so it makes me look kinda emo with my black-and-white framed glasses (lols). I like my hair most of the time, although I don't always put much effort into it...

i usually straiten it, otherwise its ferocious.

almost always wear it down-- it's long and past my waist. My hair is more naturally brownish, though I'm Asian, and I've streaked it a couple times with red/raspberry highlights but those have mostly faded so it looks pretty natural now.

Since so many girls cut their hair to shoulder length once it gets long, I figure I'm going to milk the length thing as long as I can, haha. Or at least until it doesn't look good anymore :P

I wear my hair as if it's attached to my head.

Agreed :] I wake up, spend about 5 strokes brushing it - all of 5 seconds - run out so I don't miss the bus. Get lots of compliments on it though, which is weird. What's weirder is when people pet my hair - and, yes, I do mean pet it since it's apparently really soft. I don't get it, but whatever suits them.

I have hair to the bottom of my butt, I wear it up with hairsticks in a bun most of the time. I even have porcupine quills to hold it up. Its so much fun to do things with.

I have thick, frizzy-ish hair. Sometimes when I can get it to behave, I wear it half up, half down. Other times I wear it back in a pony tail.

My hair is really long (below elbow-level, with straight arms; used to be quite a few inches longer, but had horrible split ends so my mom lassoed me and trimmed it ;) ), really thick, and slightly wavy. I´ve never straightened or curled it in my life and I´ve only dyed it 3 times, each time with henna, last time 5 1/2 years ago (it turned out green because I´d tried to dye it black, but I was cool with that :D). Naturally it´s light-medium brown with auburn tendencies and blonde streaks. I get a ton of compliments on it....

...Despite the fact that my hair care routine generally goes like this:
1) Wash it about once a week.
2) Put it in a braid before bed [and if I´ve washed it that evening, let dry overnight. (Never dry by morning, but whatever.)]
3) In the morning, brush and rebraid it, or put it in a ponytail or a bun fastened with an elastic band.

I´m good at French braiding my hair.

Sometimes I part my hair on the side. I have a very clean right-side part--I have no idea how, but one day I decided to part my hair on the side for the first time in years and it just happened to fall into this razor-sharp part--but I rather prefer a slightly messy part. :p

But in general... I don´t do much with my hair. :) It´s better that way.

I just comb it enough so that it doesn't stick up, and even then I sometimes fail. For special occasions I may actually take time on it, but for school I really don't care much.
