Mom - not necessarily anti, but not very receptive to the idea of homosexuality either.

my parents are both fantastic with the gays…
one of my dad’s best friends from college(they still talk regularly) came out about 15 years ago and my dad was the first one he told…so obviously he’s cool with it…

my mom is great with it to…

this really helps because im such a flame dame (or ■■■ hag…whatever you want to call it)…and nearly all my guy friends are gay and i have a few lesbian friends…and my parents love them all

Are there are more gays/les in boys school/girls school?

My entire family, including me, greatly disliked gays five years ago when I was in seventh grade. Then, my brother came out. Well, more like, I stumbled upon his livejournal and found him ranting about some guy and referring to him as his boyfriend.

Since then, my entire family and I continue to love my brother, we love homosexuals just like any other human being, but we don’t support the act of it. Overall, it has strengthened our faith’s aspect of loving all people–regardless of who they are. My dad, however, took a significantly longer time to adjust to my brother’s coming out. Now, he isn’t bothered anymore.

My parents, as am I, don’t like that gays aren’t allowed to marry

My parents are apathetic, for the most part, and generally take the view of “Who cares?” One of my mom’s cousins is a lesbian, and they still talk.
