How does a "pharmacy internship" work?

<p>I would like to apply to 0-6 pharmacy programs in fall of 2012. I am currently a junior in high school. I have a relative who owns a small pharmacy/drugstore, and i want to "intern" at her pharmacy. How does it work, and how does it go on my applications so that they can see I have an interest in pharmacy?</p>

<p>Should I have my relative write recommendations, or what? Thanks for responding :)</p>

<p>You can definitely put it on your app. Volunteering often leads to employment if you do a good job</p>
