So I was searching around for some summer internships, I am currently a freshmen in high school, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. I am looking in the Chicago area and I am interested in Business or political/government internships.

<p>You should check with your local politicians if you can. I’ve done that. Internship opportunities for freshman are limited at most.</p>

<p>hey guys, my aunt is opening up a pharmacy of her own. and my dream is to be a pharmacist 
so i asked to be an intern/volunteer.</p>
<p>i would like to know, what are the benefits? will it increase my chances to 6year pharmacy schools? if so, should my aunt write recs or something, or do i just put that i worked there for 1 summer?</p>
<p>also, what’s the diff. between volunteering and shadowing? btw what exactly is “interning”? sorry, i’m new to this T_T i’m a junior so it’s my last summer to do something! :D</p>
