How does a top school look at high school?

<p>I just wanted to know how much consideration goes into your H.S. transcripts when applying to a top school as a transfer.

<p>From my understanding it depends on what year you're transferring into. If you're say transferring after your Freshmen year as a Sophomore, more weight is given to your HS stats than if you were transferring as a Junior.</p>

<p>Some universities (UCs in particular) don't even make decisions based on your high school grades if you're a transfer.</p>

<p>do the UCs accept any sophmore transfers or is it all junior transfers? and what other schools dont look a high school?</p>

<p>They only accept junior transfers, that is, anyone with at least 60 semester units completed before enrolling into the transfer school.</p>
