How does admissions look at your stats?

Hi - I am wondering how adcoms actually look at your stats? I sent in my common app with a previous act score of 31 but I scored a 34 on the December ACT. Do adcoms only read what is on my common app or will they see the new score. All the schools I applied to are showing the new score in their respective portals yet my common app does not state this and only shows my prior score/sub scores. Also, it sent in my AP test scores separately via email (and file loaders at certain schools). Are these easily seen when reviewing me or again, do they really only read your common app? Any insight would be great. Thanks.

They WANT to admit you – please understand that. I get your nervousness but they’d be serious screwed up if they neglect to view your Dec ACTs. I understand the worry – but from their point of view, they don’t want to lose out on a strong kid (and 4 years of tuition and fees!)

@16tobias

If you are concerned, call or write their admissions and ask your questions directly to them. That way if there is a problem with your file, it will be discovered.

If you sent the new ACT score then they will use that.

Thanks all.
